How SlotWatch works

We watch your Tesla service center around the clock and email you the moment an earlier appointment opens up.

Tesla service waits can stretch weeks, sometimes close to two months. But slots open all the time when other owners cancel or reschedule. The trick is catching one before someone else does. That is what SlotWatch is for.

How it works

  1. Tell us your center and email. Pick up to 3 US Tesla service centers to watch and give us the email address where you want alerts.
  2. We check every ~15 minutes. Our watcher keeps an eye on your centers day and night, so you do not have to keep refreshing the Tesla app.
  3. We email you the moment an earlier slot opens. When an opening appears sooner than your current appointment, you get an email right away with the details.
  4. You reschedule in the Tesla app in seconds. Open the app, grab the slot, and you are done. The appointment always stays in your hands.

Why no Tesla login?

We never ask for your Tesla username, password, or account access, and we never store any Tesla credentials. SlotWatch only needs your email and the service centers you want to watch. Because we stay completely outside your Tesla account, you keep full control: rescheduling happens in the official Tesla app, by you. Nothing to hand over, nothing to worry about.

What we can and can't do

What we can do:

  • Watch up to 3 US Tesla service centers for you.
  • Check roughly every 15 minutes so you find out fast.
  • Surface earlier openings that appear when other people cancel or reschedule.
  • Email you the details so you can act quickly.

What we can't do:

  • We can't create or book appointments for you. Rescheduling always happens in the Tesla app.
  • We can't guarantee that an earlier slot will appear. If nobody cancels, there is nothing to find, and that is out of our hands.
  • We are honest about this: SlotWatch improves your odds of catching a cancellation, but it can't promise one.

Why I built this

Why I built this

I drive a Tesla, and last time I needed service the app quoted me a wait that was weeks out. Annoying, but I figured I was stuck with it.

Then a friend mentioned that earlier slots open up all the time when other people cancel. So I started doing the thing you probably know too well: opening the app, refreshing, closing it, opening it again a few hours later. I caught one earlier date by luck, and it made me wonder how many I'd missed just by not looking at the right moment.

That felt like something a computer should do instead of me. So I built SlotWatch to keep an eye on the service centers I care about and email me the second an earlier slot shows up.

That's it. I hope it saves you some refreshing too.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give you my Tesla login?

No. SlotWatch never asks for or stores your Tesla credentials, and no Tesla login is required to use our service. We monitor publicly available service center availability, and you reschedule any earlier slot yourself directly in the Tesla app.

How fast will I get the alert?

We check your watched service centers roughly every 15 minutes, so you'll get an email alert within about 15 minutes of an earlier slot appearing. Alerts are email only (no SMS), so keep an eye on your inbox and act quickly, since popular openings can get grabbed fast.

Which service centers can you watch?

You can watch real US Tesla service centers that we monitor. Just pick the locations you want to keep an eye on, and we'll track them for earlier openings that free up from cancellations.

How many centers can I watch?

You can watch up to 3 US Tesla service centers at the same time on a single watch. This lets you cover multiple nearby locations to improve your chances of catching an earlier opening.

What if no earlier slot ever opens?

We're honest about this: earlier slots only appear when someone else cancels, so we can't guarantee one will ever open. SlotWatch monitors continuously and alerts you the moment an earlier opening shows up, but if openings are rare in your area you may not get an alert. That's why we offer a money-back guarantee: if no earlier slot appears during your 60-day watch, email us for a full refund.

Are you affiliated with Tesla?

No. SlotWatch is an independent service that is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" is a trademark of Tesla, Inc.

How does pricing work?

It's a one-time $24 charge for a 60-day watch of up to 3 centers — no subscription, nothing auto-renews. If no earlier slot opens in your 60 days, email us for a full refund. If you want to keep watching afterward, there's an optional $6.99/mo continuation you can cancel anytime.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We never ask for or store your Tesla login credentials, and payments are processed securely through Stripe rather than being stored by us. If you'd prefer full control, there's also an open-source self-host option available on GitHub.
