SlotWatch ("SlotWatch," "we," "us," or "our") operates slotwatcher.app, a service that monitors Tesla service centers for earlier appointment openings and emails you when one appears. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

SlotWatch is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tesla, Inc. "Tesla" is a trademark of Tesla, Inc. We never ask for or store your Tesla login credentials.

What we collect

  • Your email address. This is how we send you alerts and account-related messages.
  • Your watch settings. The US Tesla service centers you choose to monitor (up to 3) and the date range you want us to watch.
  • Billing information — handled by Stripe. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card number and payment details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. We receive only limited information from Stripe such as your subscription status and confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.
  • Basic, privacy-friendly analytics. We collect aggregate usage data (such as page views and general traffic patterns) through Cloudflare to understand how the site is used. This is not used to build advertising profiles.

We do not collect or store Tesla account credentials, vehicle data, or location data.

How we use it

  • To send you email alerts when an earlier appointment slot appears.
  • To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • To process your subscription and bill you through Stripe.
  • To respond to your questions and support requests.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We use your information to run the service you signed up for — nothing more.

Sub-processors

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to operate SlotWatch. Each processes only the data needed for its role:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Resend — email delivery (sending your alerts and account messages).
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.

These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes. We share data only with the sub-processors listed above, and only as needed to run the service.

Data retention

We keep your email address and watch settings for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations (for example, billing records held by Stripe). Aggregate analytics that do not identify you may be retained.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Just email us at [email protected] and we will take care of it. You can also cancel your subscription at any time, which stops future billing.

Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the site. Our analytics, provided through Cloudflare, are designed to be privacy-friendly and aggregate — we do not use them to track you across other websites or to build advertising profiles.

Children

SlotWatch is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Self-hosting

SlotWatch offers an open-source self-host option on GitHub. If you run your own instance, you are responsible for the data it collects, and this policy does not apply to that deployment.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you by email.
